For families, seniors, and young people starting out alike, our city should be one that lifts people up. That takes new leadership: leadership committed to protecting what makes Burlington special while opening new paths to affordability and growth through disciplined budgeting, strong local jobs, and clear priorities that deliver real results in every neighbourhood.

    Fiscal Responsibility

    A city hall that respects every dollar — and every resident.

    • Inflation-anchored budgets, after a 2026 city budget that rose 5.80 per cent.
    • Protect the frontline services residents rely on — libraries, transit, parks, road maintenance — by finding the discipline behind the scenes.
    • Restore honest scrutiny at council, and give up Strong Mayor powers wherever possible.

    Affordability

    A Burlington where young people can find their start, families can grow, and seniors thrive.

    • Never tax more than necessary — property taxes are the piece of the cost-of-living squeeze council actually controls.
    • Build more homes: bring land forward, speed up responsible approvals, and secure Burlington’s fair share of provincial and federal support.
    • Led the fight that stopped a $41 million development charge giveaway, and will keep development working for residents.
